This week’s episode of NCIS surprised a lot of longtime fans of the series.
If you missed it, at the end of the episode, it was revealed that Emily Fornell, the daughter of Tobias Fornell, had died of an opiate overdose.
Many fans were shocked about the death, as it wasn’t promoted.
“Seriously @NCIS_CBS? First Breena Palmer and now Emily Fornell? Come on, I want to watch one episode without crying! #NCIS,” one fan notably wrote about the shocking plot twist.
Now, the actress who played Emily, Juliette Angelo, is opening up about the death and revealing that not even she knew about it.
“It was a shock, for all of us,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories following the episode. “I found out the same time as you, via text.”
Juliette added, “Lots of emotion about this.”
Juliette, who has also appeared in The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Shameless, had played the role of Emily since she was 13 years old.
